At the beginning of November, 2018, we travelled by car, from Liverpool Via Portsmouth/Santander to the Algarve Portugal, for our annual Christmas Holiday. Unfortunately, we missed our 1st hotel at the start of our journey (you know what it's like when you come off the ferry still half asleep, and [Ooops], that wrong turning seem to get under your wheels) We say Unfortunately, but where as in this case, it was very fortunate, otherwise, we would never have come across this delightful Lienzo Restaurant in Lugo.
There was a meet and greet at the entrance door. The staff were very tentative, polite and the food serve was absolutely fantastic, there was very little waiting time, although they were very busy.

Would we recommend this restaurant to anybody else, YES we would and have. Will we go there again, YES most certainly.

Large. Clean. Cozy. Run by its owners and some staff; professional, attentive, dedicated. A place that surprises with the quality of its dishes, and with the quantity as well, standing out (in my humble opinion) above its close competition. Definitely a place to return and repeat (which we have, in fact). And not only is the food delicious, but the coffees taste luxurious. With a large terrace at the front.

Cafetería céntrica en calle peatonal con agradable terraza. Buena y ágil atención pesea estar lleno. Comimos muy bien con el menú del día por 17,50 todo incluido. La paella muy rica y las navajas, el entrecot muy sabroso. La única pega fue el arroz con leche que no fue de los mejores que tomé pero bueno, ni tan mal. En general repetiría sin duda.

Centrally located café on a pedestrian street with a pleasant terrace. Service was good and prompt despite being packed. We had a very good meal with the daily menu for 17.50 all-inclusive. The paella and razor clams were delicious, and the entrecote was very tasty. The only downside was the rice pudding, which wasn't among the best I've had, but it wasn't that bad. Overall, I would definitely go back.

Buen sitio, paramos a comer en nuestra visita a Monforte, comimos el menú del día por 14.50€. Ensalada de garbanzos, entrecot y melocotón en almíbar, todo buenísimo y buena cantidad. El camarero super atento y amable. Volvimos por la noche a cenar y acertamos otra vez. Una ensalada de salmón, otra de pollo ( no tengo foto)y bacalao a la gallega, muy buenas raciones y muy bueno todo

Great place. We stopped for lunch on our visit to Monforte. We had the set menu for €14.50. Chickpea salad, entrecote, and peaches in syrup, all delicious and in good quantities. The waiter was extremely attentive and friendly. We returned that evening for dinner and made the right choice again. A salmon salad, a chicken salad (I don't have a photo), and Galician-style cod. The portions were very generous, and everything was very good.

Aquí probamos su menú de 10 euros con tres primeros y tres Segundo a elegir. De primero pedimos garbanzo con calamares 🦑 y de Segundo lubina y raxo. Buena relación calidad/precio. En la noche fuimos a probar sus tapas y estaban todas riquísimas 😋. Lo recomendamos!!!

Here we tried their 10-euro menu with three starters and three main courses to choose from. We ordered chickpeas with squid for the first course 🦑 and sea bass and raxo for the second course. Great value. That evening we went to try their tapas and they were all delicious 😋. We recommend it!!!
Fuimos a comer y todo muy bien. Menú con comida casera y muy rico. Atención muy buena. Camareros muy amables. Recomendable si estás en la zona. Menú económico.

Comida abundante y rica. Tomamos de entrante calamares y mejillones en vinagreta. Exquisitos y raciones abundantes. Seguimos con dos platos combinados y ensalada de rulo de cabrá. Muy abundante todo. El camarero majisimo y los baños perfectos.

Good service and cheap tapas, a good place for a snack. We paid 6.40 for two drinks and four tapas (empanadilla, croquettes, breaded calamari, and battered shrimp). The tapas, as you can see, were all fried, but hey, they were delicious. The calamari was squid, not frozen, which we thought was a plus. We then ordered three extra tapas for €3 (shrimp, octopus, and more calamari). I'd give it 4.5 stars, but I can't, so I'll give it 5 because 4 seems too low.

Buena atención, buena comida, económico, buena carta de vinos y cervezas. Situado en la calle peatonal más céntrica y comercial de Monforte. Ademas de las instalaciones dedicadas a restaurante dispone de terraza donde se puede comer también. A parte de restaurante es cafetería con un amplio horario de apertura todos los días de la semana.Un buen sitio para visitar.
